Some classics never fade away because they’re just too damn tasty. Like a prawn cocktail but this one is slightly lighter with yogurt tartare crossed with thousand island or Marie Rose sauce ❤️

  2. I remember the first shrimp cocktail I ever had. We lived near San Francisco as a kid and whenever family from across the country would visit, we’d make the obligatory trip to Fishermen’s Wharf where we would have lunch at a very fancy restaurant at a window table looking out over the fishing boat docks. My cocktail (called a Shrimp Louie) came piled high in a very fancy cut crystal coupe glass and it was heaven. I remember making a comment like I bet this is what angels eat in heaven. The head waiter then brought me a little more. Le sigh. Will be making this heavenly dish this weekend!
